Respite care throughout Caerphilly County Borough.

Caerphilly Care for Carers was started in 1987 as a drop-in centre where carers could receive information, support and the chance to talk to others in a similar situation.

It became clear that one of the predominant issues was a lack of respite, and it was decided that we would go down that route. An award from the Princess Anne Trust allowed us to set up our current company, providing help and support to carers within the Caerphilly area.

Our service provides a carer for anywhere from a couple of hours or a night, providing respite for carers over 16 years of age. This can give carers support in their time of need.

We are a preferred company by social services and we work closely with the Aneurin Bevan Health Trust within Caerphilly County Borough.

Our respite care services include:

• Respite provision for carers over 16 years of age
• Care for the carers
• Time off for the family members
• Help and support in your time of need

We are a registered charity (charity number: 1064267).
